Chicago Public Schools owns a substantial body of artwork displayed throughout the district. C|ZDS was engaged by CPS Capital Planning and Construction as part of a multi-discipline team focused on managing this asset.  

 

Our initial contributions to this initiative created the structure for the Fine Arts Portfolio Assessment program. As the program proceeds C|ZDS will help lead its efforts including quality control and asset cataloging.

 

C|ZDS also coordinates and participates in the oversight of new public arts projects.  Working with CPS Departments of Arts Education and Capital Planning and Construction, we developed and continue to implement performance standards for the design, construction, and installation of new works for the benefit of CPS students and their communities.
