Our commitment to the built environment is rooted in large firm K-12 experience. We work with our clients to create optimal solutions to today’s challenges in the design, construction, and operation of educational facilities. Our successful collaborations have improved building quality and reduced operating costs on over $1 billion in renovation and new construction capital projects while creating educational environments that inspire and enhance learning.
C|Z Design Strategies is also supported by its licensed design firm entity C|Z Architecture to provide the full spectrum of architectural design services.
Originally from Dublin Ireland, Justin developed an interest in architecture probably unconsciously at an early age, as a result of being surrounded by Ireland’s rich architectural heritage from pre-historic to more contemporary work. After completing his undergraduate studies at Hull School of Architecture, England, a chance summer trip to Chicago in 1993 became a slightly longer odyssey, including a Master of Architecture degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and continues to this day...
A founding principal at C|Z Design Strategies LLC, Justin has over 20 years of experience dedicated to the successful design and implementation of K-12 education projects. Justin is passionate about translating each client’s project aspirations and unique challenges into a distinctive design solution that meets their goals and surpasses their expectations.
When not working Justin enjoys trips back to Ireland (yes the Guinness really is better there!), visiting new countries, coaching his sons rugby team, sailing, discovering new wines, and expanding his knowledge of whisk(e)y.
